Rockabilly Harley Quinn

Rockabilly inspired Harley Quinn swimwear. Because I can.

Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy

Some recent pieces of my favorite triumvirate of terror, Harley Quinn, Catwoman and Poison Ivy!

DCnU Harley Quinn

I finally got around to illustrating the 'new' Harley Quinn and from what I've read about Suicide Squad issue #7, it may be too late!

Oh well, who cares, I am far less fond of this design than all other alt HQ designs (like Arkham City and Arkham Asylum, both of which I have never drawn before either. I totally should.)

New 52 Harley Quinn

I've been wanting to draw Harley Quinn in her 'New 52' costume for a while now. So I did.

Harley Quinn on a skateboard

I finally got some colors on my Harley Quinn pencils/Charles Howell's inks. Now seriously contemplating this as a tattoo.

Harley Quinn inked by Charles Howell

My good pal Chunky B aka Charles Howell of Eclectorama fame inked my recent Harley Quinn pencils - before me! He did an excellent job of it, and I need to add colors to his work soon, but I wanted to share the great work he did with my pencils.

P.S. I totally support folks inking/coloring over my pencils, so if you too are so inclined feel free, and email me with the results. I love to see this type of thing!

Harley Quinn work in progress

Over at my toy blog I celebrate Harley Quinn every 'Harley Qwednesday.' Tonight I literally had to fight the urge NOT to draw (yeah, been in one of those moods lately,) so since Harl was on my mind I decided to draw her riding a skateboard. Here's what I have so far.

Joker Sketchbook Commissions

I recently showed a couple sneak peeks of the Joker sketchbook drawings I did for a fellow in trade for some toys. Yes, I trade art for toys. Interested? Email me at bubbashelby@gmail.com!

Anyways, I was about to post a sneak peek to a new sketchbook commission and realized I hadn't posted the pictures for the Joker commission!

So without further ado, here they are!

First I did a full page illustration of an ATC design I have previously done.

I also did a full page of Harley Quinn on a unicycle, juggling some bombs. No Joker themed sketchbook is complete without Harley Quinn!

I added a pencil sketch of the fifties Jokermobile too because if I didn't, no one else would have.

Finally, since I was the first to draw in this sketchbook, I wanted to add some rude jokes ala the Joker himself, so I added little illustrations to the corners of three pages in order to entice future artists to draw on those pages:

So that's it! If anyone else is interested in trading toys for art, just get a hold of me and let's make a deal!

ATC Requests for Wynn

Here are the ATCs Wynn Ryder requested (along with a Harley Quinn I think he'll like!)

That unmistakable "Keaton pout"

Ledger/Joker, Pfeifer/Catwoman, Harley Quinn and The Crow.

Supercar # 8.5: Harley Quinn

This one comes from another request. I took it in a little different direction than all my Supercars to date, so I decided it only counts as a ".5"

I may revisit the concept and apply the true "Supercar" formula at a later date, but for now here's Harley Quinn in an out of control bumper car! Wheeee!

Harley Quinn - Movie Style

I drew this pic of Harley Quinn (the Joker's girlfriend) in the style of the Dark Knight Joker as played by Heath Ledger. Drugs and suicidal tendencies would be required to be the Joker's girlfriend, so I kind of ran with that concept.
