Supercar #1: The Plas-Mobile!

Plastic Man is a superhero that can not only stretch, but can turn his body into the shape of anything his mind desires. I remember really digging the Plastic Man cartoon as a kid. Here's an illustration of Plastic Man in a Rat Fink type Hot Rod pose. Burn plastic!

The Bat-Mite Returns!

I gave up reading comics for a few years, but I recently got the bug again. I blame Grant Morrison. His run as writer for Batman is really a kick. I picked up the story arc "The Island of Mister Mayhew" and fell in love with it's modern twist on Golden/Silver Age concepts. I love what I'm reading and seeing, and was surprised as can be (which is hard for a comic book to do these days) to see Bat-Mite at the end of Batman #672. Interesting, to say the least!

So without further ado, here is my rendition of that little pixie.

Mister Mxyzptlk

Keeping with the magical "say it backwards" theme - I drew up this little 5th dimensional imp known as Mister Mxyzptlk. To get rid of him, make him say his name backwards.

Annataz werd I, kool!

For those unfamiliar with the character, Zatanna is a DC comics magician/superhero who is able to create magic by saying things backwards. She should take better care not to hold her wand backwards.

Look out Captain!

Red Skull, you're a real Ratzi bastard!

(Don't worry, Captain America has quick reflexes. He'll be fine.)

Huntress

Here's my take on the Huntress. A great and under appreciated member of the Bat family.

Batgirl!

I like to draw "trunks" on both Batman and Batgirl. The costumes look better and are more consistent that way, although I do like Batgirl to have a little more color on her cowl and cape. For Batman, I prefer black.

Batman - 1939 Style!

Batman was cool from day one. Here is a recent drawing I did using costume cues from his very first appearance in 1939.

Cats

This started as a pic of Black Suit Spidey and Black Cat. I messed up on Spidey's arm (fixed in Photoshop) so I redrew it as Batman and Catwoman. Cool beans.

Harley Quinn - Movie Style

I drew this pic of Harley Quinn (the Joker's girlfriend) in the style of the Dark Knight Joker as played by Heath Ledger. Drugs and suicidal tendencies would be required to be the Joker's girlfriend, so I kind of ran with that concept.
